John Roohinan

John has been acting since he was five years old.  He has studied under Margie Haber Studios, Craig Calvin and Sheila Manning.  This film marks John’s first lead role in a feature film.  Recent credits include a short film called “Just A Glove,” the role of Nelson on the FX Series, “Married,” a featured role in the viral hit “Cookie Dance” music video, directed by Lee Williams.  John just wrapped his second feature, “Fresno.” Directed by Jamie Babbit, he acted alongside Natasha Lyonne and Judy Greer.

In his free time, John loves to play on a percussion instrument called the dumbek, used in Arabic and Armenian music. He also loves to play the cajon. John speaks English and two dialects of Armenian.   A gifted, up-and-coming actor, John Roohinian is a talent to watch out for.
